Chief Legal Officer

My client is a leading finance business in the Middle East. They are looking for a CLO to join their growing officer in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

Provide oversight on legal services to including commercial, corporate, governance, regulatory, litigation, and operational matters.
Ensure the company complies with relevant laws and regulations.
Lead all legal and regulatory matters globally across traditional finance and digital asset sectors.
Manage relationships with regulators, external legal advisers, suppliers, and public authorities to protect the company’s interests in global multi-asset trading markets.
Collaborate with regional legal teams and global legal leaders to align on governance, policy, and risk mitigation.
Drive timely delivery of legal workstreams, ensuring clear communication and follow-through on complex and multi-party projects.
Provide legal support during the onboarding of new trading partners, institutional clients, and business units, including the drafting and negotiation of service agreements, terms of platform access, and operational frameworks aligned with the company’s multi-asset trading activities in global markets.
Act as a strategic legal partner to the CEO and Board, supporting enterprise-wide initiatives and governance.
Oversee legal budget planning, resourcing, and spend optimisation in collaboration with senior leadership.
