We are supporting a leading technology services organisation with the appointment of a Practice Head – Cloud Infrastructure Services to lead the growth and delivery of its cloud and infrastructure business in Riyadh.
This is a senior leadership role for an experienced cloud infrastructure professional who can combine technical depth, service delivery leadership, client engagement and commercial awareness. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping cloud infrastructure offerings, leading delivery teams, managing enterprise client engagements and ensuring the successful execution of large-scale cloud transformation programmes.
The role will suit someone with strong experience across public, private and hybrid cloud environments, with the ability to lead teams, advise senior stakeholders and drive operational excellence across complex infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Cloud Infrastructure Services practice, including strategy, delivery, service quality and team performance.
- Own the design, delivery and optimisation of cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients.
- Work closely with customers to understand business and technical requirements, then translate these into secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Lead cloud migration and transformation programmes from legacy/on-premise environments to public, private or hybrid cloud platforms.
- Manage and develop teams across cloud architecture, engineering, operations and support.
- Oversee service delivery performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to client expectations.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients around cloud adoption, infrastructure modernisation, cost optimisation, security and operational resilience.
- Ensure cloud environments follow best practice across availability, performance, security, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Support the development of cloud service offerings, pricing models, proposals and go-to-market initiatives.
- Partner with sales and account teams to identify growth opportunities within existing and new client accounts.
- Manage practice-level budgets, utilisation, profitability and operational reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, automation, governance and service quality.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and identify opportunities to enhance the organisation’s cloud capabilities.
Candidate Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience across cloud infrastructure, IT infrastructure services, cloud architecture or managed services.
- 8+ years in a leadership role, managing technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure programmes.
- Strong experience across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and/or hybrid cloud environments.
- Proven background leading cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation or managed cloud services engagements.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, automation, operations and service management.
- Experience working with enterprise or government clients in complex delivery environments.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to engage confidently with CIOs, CTOs, IT leaders and senior business stakeholders.
- Experience managing service delivery KPIs, SLAs, budgets and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, risk management and governance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
