Digital Communications Officer

Location: Sydney (with occasional interstate travel)
Employment Type: Full-time

Salt is excited to be recruiting a Digital Communications Officer! This role offers a unique opportunity to support the education of GPs, nurses and healthcare professionals across Australia, and to play an active part in delivering high-quality digital learning experiences to the healthcare sector.

As a member of Learning Management Systems team, you will apply your tertiary education, digital mindset and strong organisational skills to support the delivery, promotion and continuous improvement of the online education portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career at the intersection of digital communications, learning design and healthcare education. You will work with a superb team and will be provided with significant training and upskilling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uploading and managing content and course builds within the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Liaising with content writers, technical developers, sponsors and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the Marketing & Communications team to deliver digital brand and promotional campaigns
  • Assist with CPD accreditation processes and related administration
  • Work to tight deadlines across multiple projects
  • Interstate travel to support events and educational activities as required

About You

You are organised, proactive and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in digital communication, education and healthcare. You enjoy working collaboratively but are equally confident managing your own workload and priorities.

You will bring:

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work autonomously
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new tools, systems and processes

Selection Criteria

  • A degree in a relevant field such as learning management, marketing and communications, education
  • General digital communications experience (including through study, internships or graduate roles)
  • Any experience across eLearning design is desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Any knowledge or experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, LearnDash, Thinkific, Moodle or ActiveCampaign (or similar CRM platforms) would be desirable
