Our client is seeking an experienced Content Strategist to define and guide the content vision for a corporate website redesign. This role will focus on building the strategic foundation for content, ensuring it aligns with business goals, user needs, brand voice, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards. The Content Strategist will collaborate with internal stakeholders and design teams to establish frameworks that guide content development and ensure the website delivers clear, engaging, and effective user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct onboarding and information gathering, including review of brand voice and content guidelines
- Analyze and benchmark competitor websites and content approaches
- Validate the agency’s content direction against brand voice, legal constraints, and clarity standards
- Review existing information architecture (IA), navigation models, and taxonomy
- Align stakeholders around the content vision, objectives, and success metrics
- Develop content mapping aligned with the website structure
- Ensure content supports priority business outcomes and user journeys
- Ensure alignment between content strategy and IA/navigation decisions
- Approve page templates from a content-first perspective
- Define SEO intent mapping and on-page SEO requirements
- Ensure accessibility and clarity standards are reflected in the content framework
- Establish governance guidelines to support consistent content development and future scalability
