Senior Product Designer – Mobile App job in Greater London | Salt Recruitment UK

Salt are working with a leading Entertainment Brand operating across the UK, US and Germany, highly regarded as one of the leading providers of live entertainment and digital experiences, impacting over 18 million customer every year.

They are looking for an end to end Senior Product Designer to lead the launch of their brand new app experience across IOS and Android. This is a true 0-1 launch, right from discovery and research to execution. You’ll lead a cross functional squad tasked at creating a best in class app experience that engages users and drives adoption.

As the Senior Product Designer for app, you’ll need great research skills, a strong understanding around information architecture, design system experience within native app, a lover of lean UX and a well-rounded portfolio of experience with a leaning towards UX over UI. Above all, you’ll need to be a Designer comfortable with stakeholder management. Bridging the gap between design, technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise communication and engaging story telling.

You’ll be joining a team of empowered designers, working collaboratively and autonomously within your teams to delivery exceptional app experience and tangible outcomes. You’ll report into an exceptional Head of Design who fosters a great culture across her design teams.

Here are a few key requirements for the role:

• Extensive experience as an end to end Product Designer working on mobile app experience. (Android and IOS).
• Deep understanding of Apple Human Interface design guidelines, and Google Material Design for Android.
• Experience maintaining and updating a native app design system.
• Proven ability to do user centric interaction design, including user journey mapping, information architecture, content design, task analysis, and visual design.
• Strong skillset in relation to discovery and research.
• Ideally, experience designing apps within ecommerce.
• Concise and engaging soft skills with great stakeholder management experience and story telling ability.
• Tools used: Figma, Userlytics, Axure RP, Tokens Studio for Figma, Miro.

The role is hybrid from their London office with 2 or 3 days per week required in the office.
