Cyber Security Engineer

Most people hit Ctrl+Z when they make a mistake. You hit Ctrl+Z and then immediately begin root cause analysis. You know your MITRE ATT&CK from your NIST CSF, your EDR from your XDR, and you’ve probably muttered ‘that’s a misconfiguration’ more times than you can count. What You’ll Need

• Experience: 5+ years in hands-on cybersecurity roles

• Endpoint Expertise: Proven track record with EPP, EDR, and XDR platforms in large-scale enterprise environments

• Systems & Cloud: Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux, with practical experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP

• SIEM/SOAR: Experience integrating and managing tools like Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel

• Automation: Ability to use PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate security workflows and reduce manual tasks

• Compliance: Practical experience applying frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, POPIA, SOC 2, and NIST CSF

• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or CCNA are considered a strong advantage
