Cyber Security Lead

Salt is currently hiring a Cyber Security Lead for a client of ours in Utrecht.

This is for zzp/kvk and is paying 110 euros an hour.

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Lead to drive cybersecurity improvements across a complex enterprise IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate cybersecurity risks, audit findings, and roadmap priorities into actionable work packages.
• Advise management, Product Owners, and IT Leads on security risks and priorities.
• Drive ownership, decision-making, and progress across multiple teams.
• Support risk analyses, compliance activities, and remediation of security findings.
• Identify roadblocks, coordinate escalations, and report on security improvements.
• Help teams become increasingly self-sufficient in managing cybersecurity risks.

Requirements

• HBO/WO working and thinking level.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience in complex enterprise environments (5,000+ workstations).
• Strong experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and security improvement.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps and/or SAFe environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills at operational, tactical, and management levels.
• Proven ability to translate complex security topics into clear management decisions.
• Experience leading improvement initiatives across multiple teams.
• Excellent spoken and written Dutch.
• Experience with large SaaS solutions is a plus.
