Data Scientist – Healthcare

The Opportunity

My client is hiring a commercially minded Data Scientist to drive insight-led decision-making across a global healthcare events portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this newly created role will play a key role in unlocking growth across audiences, exhibitors, and revenue.

You’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform marketing, commercial, and product strategy – helping the business move faster and smarter.

About You:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Data Scientist or Senior Analyst (marketing, SaaS, or events experience preferred)
• Strong expertise in data modelling, predictive analytics, segmentation, and growth analytics
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Power BI (or similar tools)
• Experience working with CRM and marketing automation data
• Commercially focused, with the ability to link insights to revenue and growth
• Confident communicator who can influence non-technical stakeholders
• Curious, proactive, and driven by impact

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate marketing, audience, and exhibitor data into actionable strategic insights
• Identify growth opportunities through audience behaviour and segmentation analysis
• Build and measure growth loops across engagement, retention, and referrals
• Analyse campaign performance, attribution, and ROI to optimise spend
• Develop predictive models for attendance, leads, and exhibitor demand
• Design dashboards and reporting that support real-time decision-making
• Partner cross-functionally to embed insights into everyday business decisions
