Currently we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to work in the Chief Data Office of this exciting business. You will leverage data science to design high performing solutions that solve complex problems and run on a cloud based big data platform.

• Work in a cross functional agile delivery team alongside big data engineers, data architects and more
• Delivering advanced data science solutions to enhance capability and generate insight across the business.
• Create robust productionised data science pipelines using open source tools.
• Always stay up to date with emerging techniques, machine learning technologies and the industry as a whole.
• Drive research and explore further innovative methods that can help the enhance the business capability.

Experience required for this role:

• Good experience building and productionising data science pipelines in Python or Java
• Experience using Open Source frameworks and machine learning packages and frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Experience with cloud based technologies such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with collaborative software development or Agile delivery methodologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines would be a bonus
• Great problem-solving skills with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate with non-technical audiences.
