Job Title: Data Architect

Location: Birmingham, UK (2 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and guidance to other data architects in the design and production of data artefacts.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models utilizing various modelling techniques.
• Collaborate closely with technical architects and developers to ensure alignment between data architecture and organizational systems design.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and translate organisational needs into data modelling requirements.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining data architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in providing oversight and advice to other data architects.
• Strong proficiency in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Experience collaborating with technical architects and developers to ensure alignment with data architecture principles.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into data modelling solutions.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies related to data modelling and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in data architecture or related disciplines.
