I am looking for a hands-on Digital Cloud Manager to lead the execution of our end-to-end cloud strategy across all Digital products. This role ensures that System Integrators design, build, secure, and operate cloud environments in line with high availability, disaster recovery, security, and FinOps standards.
As the Digital Cloud Manager, you will be a key technical leader, driving cloud architecture excellence, governance, and operational efficiency, while collaborating closely with internal teams and vendors. A cloud-agnostic mindset and deep practical experience with Google Cloud Platform is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce cloud architecture guardrails, patterns, and standards across all Digital workloads.
- Govern System Integrators to ensure secure, HA, and DR-compliant cloud implementations.
- Implement and monitor FinOps practices, including cost control, showback, and optimization across cloud environments.
- Drive consistent adoption of Infrastructure as Code with auditable workflows and change controls.
- Design and validate HA, DR, and resiliency patterns for mission-critical digital journeys.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams on cloud posture hardening, compliance, and continuous risk assessment.
- Ensure proper implementation of observability, logging, and SLO-based availability tracking.
- Provide hands-on support for complex cloud design decisions, migrations, and platform-level issues.
Key Outcomes:
- Highly available, predictable cloud platforms supporting digital product launches and operations.
- Full compliance with QIC Cyber cloud security standards.
- FinOps adoption leading to measurable cloud cost control.
- Reduced environment-driven incidents affecting end users.
- Unified cloud model across all System Integrators.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years in cloud engineering or cloud platform architecture roles.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); familiarity with Azure and/or AWS a plus.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code skills (e.g., Terraform).
- Proven track record in designing and implementing HA and DR at scale.
- Practical experience with FinOps, cost governance, and optimization.
- Strong DevOps mindset with CI/CD pipeline integration and environment governance experience.
- Ability to challenge and guide System Integrators based on architecture evidence and standards.
