Our client is looking for a Lead Designer who will be the visual force behind how they show up across paid and organic campaigns. They’ll work as part of the marketing team to create high-impact assets, from dynamic video content to social media graphics, campaign visuals, and motion design.This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, can switch between video and static formats with ease, and cares deeply about taste, clarity, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video & Motion Design
- Concept, edit, and produce short-form video assets (for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and paid ads) that are native to the platform and aligned with brand goals.
- Create motion graphics, animated type, transitions, and branded effects that elevate the storytelling and reinforce consistency across touchpoints.
- Partner with the digital team to test, iterate, and optimize video assets for performance.
2. Marketing Asset Production
- Design a wide range of static and animated marketing assets, including:
- Paid social and display ads
- Email campaign visuals
- Landing page imagery
- Social post graphics
- Event and announcement collateral
- Translate briefs into assets with real stopping power, ensuring all work feels intentional, brand-aligned, and conversion-minded.
3. Brand Consistency & Taste
- Act as a guardian of visual identity, balancing creativity with clear brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketing leads to tailor design approaches for specific audience segments (creators, tech enthusiasts, investors, music industry professionals, etc.).
- Contribute to and help evolve the visual design system as our campaigns scale.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a design-focused creative role, ideally within a tech, media, or high-growth startup environment.
- Strong proficiency in motion and video tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar), alongside core design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
- A portfolio showcasing a mix of high-quality video, motion, and marketing design work, especially assets built for social and performance.
- Excellent taste and instincts, across typography, layout, animation, and storytelling.
- Experience working within paid media or digital growth environments is a major plus.
