About the role:
This Employee Relations Representative is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading and global enterprise IT cloud company who are redefining the application development platform.
In this role, you will be the frontline point of contact for managers and employees across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to regional leadership within our global ER team, you will handle hands-on case management covering workplace relations, performance challenges, and conduct matters.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the day-to-day trusted advisor on all employee relations matters across Australia and New Zealand.
- Independently manage and execute end-to-end workplace investigations, ensuring fairness, discretion, and compliance.
- Coach managers to navigate difficult conversations and confidently implement performance frameworks aligned with ANZ employment law.
- Manager ER caseload while maintaining accurate, real-time internal ER trackers to provide insightful trend reports to regional leadership.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and the Global Employment Law team to handle local legislation requirements, crisis resolution, and disciplinary processes.
Preferred Skills (Min 3 years):
- 3+ years of related experience in workplace investigations.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance in ANZ
- Experience with HR ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite; comfort navigating HRIS platforms
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Data-driven mindset with curiosity about how technology can improve processes
- Creative problem-solving and forward-thinking approach
