We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Strategy & Architecture (S&A) function and play a pivotal role in delivering, maintaining, and advancing architecture services across the organisation. This role will directly support architecture practitioners, the Leadership Team, and executives to ensure consistent, scalable, and high-impact architectural outcomes.
A key focus of this role is to support and enhance the Technology Modernisation Model, implemented within ServiceNow and powered by CMDB data. You’ll ensure the model is accurate, reliable, and effective-serving as a strategic lens to measure and drive technology modernisation across the enterprise.
You will also provide training and day-to-day support to architecture practitioners, enabling them to deliver architectural services effectively.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operate and improve the Technology Modernisation Model (ServiceNow + CMDB).
- Design, prioritise, test, and deliver new features within ServiceNow to enhance processes and outcomes.
- Identify and implement improvements in Architecture processes and policies.
- Support audits (internal and external) with relevant artefacts and insights.
- Maintain architecture artefacts, documentation, and knowledge bases.
- Provide training and support for architecture practitioners across the business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver architecture services faster and with improved data quality.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in technology roles, including both operational and delivery environments.
- 2+ years’ experience in Architecture or Design within complex, regulated, or legacy-heavy organisations (agile experience desirable).
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow features/functions (APM, Enterprise Architecture).
- Strong data and reporting skills – including Excel (pivot tables, macros, functions).
- Ability to write user stories and manage feature development in Rally.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing streams of work in a complex environment.
Nice to have:
- Clarity or Signavio experience.
- Source code control knowledge (GitHub).
- Experience with enterprise-grade reporting tools (Power BI).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Cloud certifications (desirable but not essential).
