Finance & Accounting Sr. Associate

We are looking for experienced Finance & Accounting Sr. Associates to join a major finance transformation engagement in Doha. The successful candidates will support the design of a Finance Target Operating Model for a public-sector organization.

This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong reporting, budgeting, and planning experience who can confidently prepare and present high-quality outputs to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Support finance and accounting workstreams within a broader transformation project
• Review existing finance processes and contribute to future-state operating model recommendations
• Assist with budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting
• Analyze financial data and translate findings into clear recommendations
• Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations, reports, and client deliverables
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand operational and financial requirements
• Help identify opportunities to improve finance processes, governance, and reporting
• Present findings and recommendations to client and management teams

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
• Experience within the public sector or government environment is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
• Good understanding of budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and finance processes
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation-development skills
• Ability to produce clear, professional, client-ready presentations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English
• CMA, CPA, CFA, MBA, or another relevant professional qualification is preferred
• Currently based in Qatar with valid residency/QID
• Available to work onsite in Doha
