Overview:

Our client is looking for a Group Payroll Specialist to manage the monthly payroll process for approximately 180 UK-based employees across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role focused on accurate processing, UK payroll compliance, reconciliations and working with outsourced payroll bureaux.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage the monthly payroll cycle across multiple UK entities.
* Prepare and review payroll inputs and liaise with outsourced payroll bureaux.
* Resolve payroll discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
* Reconcile payroll costs and assist with month-end journals.
* Ensure compliance with UK PAYE, National Insurance and pension requirements.
* Support payroll controls, reporting and audits.

Requirements:
* UK payroll processing experience.
* Strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and pension auto-enrolment.
* Experience with outsourced payroll bureaux.
* Multi-entity payroll experience is advantageous.
* Good Excel and payroll systems experience.
* Strong attention to detail and deadline management skills.
