Head of Finance
Location: Cape Town
Level: Senior Leadership
A high-growth, tech-enabled business is seeking a Head of Finance to lead and scale its finance function. This is a hands-on senior role for a CA(SA) who can balance strong financial control with commercial and strategic input.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the finance function end-to-end, including reporting, controls, and compliance
* Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
* Prepare board and investor reporting
* Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic decisions
* Lead finance systems and ERP implementation
* Support fundraising and long-term exit readiness
* Build and develop the finance team
Requirements
* CA(SA) qualification
* 5+ years post-articles experience
* Big audit firm background
* Strong technical and commercial finance capability
* Experience in high-growth environments advantageous
