The Opportunity:
We are working with a leading global media planning agency in Dubai who are looking to appoint a Head of Performance Media to lead and scale their performance capability across key regional and global clients.
This is a senior leadership role for a performance specialist who can balance hands-on excellence, strategic vision, and team leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the agency’s performance media function across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Display, Video, and emerging performance channels
- Set the performance media vision and roadmap, ensuring best-in-class planning, activation, and optimisation
- Act as the senior performance lead on high-profile global and regional accounts, driving measurable business outcomes
- Partner closely with planning, strategy, data, tech, and creative teams to deliver integrated media solutions
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing performance team, including managers and specialists
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and ROI
- Lead client conversations around growth, innovation, attribution, and measurement frameworks
- Stay ahead of market trends, platform developments, and automation opportunities within performance media
Required Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience within performance media, ideally from a global media agency environment
- Proven leadership experience, managing and scaling multi-channel performance teams
- Deep expertise across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and Performance Display/Video
- Strong understanding of data, analytics, attribution models, and measurement frameworks
- Experience working on large-scale, complex client accounts, ideally regional or global
- Commercially minded, with the ability to drive growth, upsell performance solutions, and protect margin
