We are partnering with a Tier 1 global rail organisation to appoint an experienced Interface Package Lead for CCS/COM systems on a major Sydney rail project. Reporting to the Engineering & Design Manager, you will manage design and delivery of CCS/COM interfaces, ensuring reliability, maintainability, safety (RAMS), and integration with signalling, station, and communications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead CCS/COM interface coordination across design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning

· Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents, technical specifications, and system architecture

· Manage multidisciplinary workshops and interface reviews, tracking risks, issues, and changes

· Ensure CCS/COM compliance with rail standards, safety, cybersecurity, and system integration requirements

· Collaborate with stakeholders including signalling, radio, rolling stock, stations, operations, and maintenance teams

· Support safety assessments, testing strategies, defect management, and operational readiness

· Provide technical input for contract variations, claims, and asset handover documentation

Selection Criteria :

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or related discipline

· 10+ years’ experience in rail or mass transit CCS/COM, system integration, and interface management

· Strong knowledge of metro signaling (CBTC), IP/MPLS networks, radio communications, and station systems

· Experience applying systems engineering, RAMS, and V&V processes on safety-critical transport projects

· Excellent stakeholder, interface, and communication skills with proven conflict resolution ability

· Ability to interpret technical contracts, standards, and deliver practical engineering solutions

· Proficient with requirements management, configuration control, and testing frameworks
