Marketing Assistant

Salary: R 25 000,00 to R 35 000,00 (depending on experience)

Location: Stellenbosch (Hybrid: work 1 x per week from home)

Overview:

A growing FinTech company is looking for an energetic Marketing Coordinator to join their team based in Stellenbosch. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves content creation, brand storytelling, social media, and hands-on marketing work. You’ll collaborate directly with a supportive marketing team and work closely with the Head of Marketing – gaining real exposure, real responsibilities, and real opportunities to grow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Marketing with daily tasks and projects
• Help refresh and maintain marketing materials and branded content
• Assist in writing and developing campaign content
• Attend client meetings and offer support where needed
• Participate in events, activations, and in-person engagement
• Monitor and respond to online reviews and feedback
• Handle basic admin linked to marketing activities

Requirements:

• 2 – 4 years of experience (ideal for a recent graduate or a completed internship)
• Marketing-related qualification (degree or diploma)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A creative, detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-moving team
• Exposure to digital marketing tools is a plus
