Job Summary
The Marketing Executive (Exhibitions) is responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns to drive audience acquisition and engagement for international trade exhibitions and conferences. The role focuses on attracting visitors, delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, and media through effective use of B2B marketing strategies, ensuring strong event awareness, attendance, and commercial success. The position requires experience within the exhibitions or events industry, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for exhibitions and conferences.
  • Drive audience acquisition strategies targeting exhibitors, visitors, delegates, sponsors, and media.
  • Collaborate with sales, content, operations, and design teams to align marketing plans with event objectives and commercial targets.
  • Create and manage promotional content across digital platforms (email marketing, social media, websites) and offline channels.
  • Work with industry partners, associations, and media partners to enhance reach and visibility.
  • Manage campaign timelines, ensuring timely delivery of marketing assets and activities.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using KPIs such as registrations, conversions, engagement, and ROI.
  • Support database management, segmentation, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends, audience insights, and positioning opportunities.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors where required.
  • Support on-site marketing execution during events, including branding, attendee engagement, and promotional activities.
  • Manage marketing activities across multiple exhibitions, typically focusing on two events, or one for large-scale mega exhibitions.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in exhibition/event marketing within a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of exhibition audience acquisition and funnel management
  • Experience with digital marketing channels (email campaigns, social media, paid media, CRM systems)
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and content development skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and optimize performance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Creative thinking with a results-driven mindset

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on exhibitions, trade shows, or large-scale B2B events
  • Hands-on experience in campaign execution for exhibitions is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with event marketing tools, CRM platforms, and marketing automation systems
