UK Country Manager – Challenger Bank

UK Challenger banks should be scared. Why you ask? Because a giant in the European Challenger Bank market is coming and they’re looking to dominate. This is an incredible opportunity to join a company that has over 1 million customers in Europe, as person number 1 in the UK. You will ideally have set up a new geographic location within a FinTech or Tech company with proven success. You will be able to represent the company in the UK, take full control of the market entry, and utilise your Digital, FinTech or Technology background to do it.

UK Country Manager – Challenger Bank – Responsibilities

• Take ownership of UK market entry and establish
• Facilitate appropriate conversations with internal and external marketing, making sure there is a clearly defined vision for the UK market entry.
• Work across the relevant business areas (Product/ IT/ Finance) to expand existing and new features and products while making sure all features are relevant to the UK customers
• Source, establish and evaluate strategic cooperation and partnerships in the UK market
• Oversee all operational and legal topics as well as profit & loss

UK Country Manager – Challenger Bank – Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Successful experience launching and expanding global companies into new markets, ideally experience in FinTech, consumer platforms, digital environments or financial services
• Excellent commercial and analytical skills combined with a clear concept of business strategy
• Proven experience in a senior leadership position (COO / Managing Director / Country Director or similar)
• Exposure to product management, business development, propositions and senior/ board level engagement
• Passion for business and technology
