Salt is currently hiring Network Field Engineers for a client of ours in Mannheim, Germany.

Summary

Experienced Network Field Engineer required to provide on-site support for LAN, WLAN, and UC environments, including installation, troubleshooting, and coordination with remote teams.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in network field support (LAN/WLAN/UC)
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS (Layer 1-2) troubleshooting
Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL processes
Fluent in German and English
Ability to work at heights (~3 meters)
Valid driver’s license, own vehicle, and safety equipment

Key Responsibilities

Install, relocate, and decommission network devices (switches, access points, IP phones)
Perform patching, device power management, and status checks
Conduct IOS upgrades, resets, and basic device recovery
Collaborate with remote teams for implementation and troubleshooting
Provide clear technical feedback on devices, cabling, and installations
