Optimisation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Engineer who excels in analysing complex industrial environments, identifying performance gaps, and guiding customers toward solutions that maximise system efficiency, reliability, and overall value.

This role is consultancy‑driven – focused on insights, diagnostics, optimisation, and long‑term performance improvement.

What You’ll Do

* Conduct detailed system assessments and technical audits to identify opportunities for optimisation and improved performance.

* Analyse installation, operational data, and system behaviour to understand where customers can gain efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and extend equipment life.

* Provide clients with clear, evidence‑based insights that help them make informed decisions about system improvements.

* Develop tailored optimisation recommendations that enhance performance, reduce cost of ownership, and support long‑term operational goals.

* Use digital tools and monitoring platforms to track system behaviour and ensure improvements deliver measurable value.

* Stay across industry best practice, energy‑efficiency innovations, and relevant regulatory changes.

What You’ll Bring

* Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience.

* Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data.

* Excellent communication skills – able to translate technical insights into clear recommendations.

* A problem‑solving mindset with the ability to think holistically about system performance.

* Experience with industrial, mechanical, electrical, or energy systems (advantageous).

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional technical teams.
