If you’re currently running SEM campaigns and want to step into a role with bigger budgets, more advanced tooling, and real ownership, then this is a strong next move to work for our client. This opportunity sits within one of Australia’s most sophisticated performance marketing environments, where experimentation, automation and data-led decision making are at the core of everything they do.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a very high likelihood of converting to permanent. You’ll join a high-performing Search team and take ownership of paid search campaigns at scale, with the ability to test, learn and optimise in a genuinely fast-paced environment.

Why Work For Our Client?

  • Access to large budgets and high-volume campaigns, embracing a culture of test-and-learn, allowing you to experiment with data.
  • Work with advanced automation, AI and bidding strategies
  • Genuinely flexible working from home policy
  • 25 days of annual leave
  • Career development programs, events & learning opportunities
  • Collaborative, high-performing team that will work closely with you to achieve your career goals

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end execution and optimisation of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Execution of seasonal, high impact, high volume Search campaigns
  • Drive ongoing experimentation (A/B testing, automation, creative & personalisation) to improve performance
  • Devise new data solutions that allow you to understand customers better and increase the team’s efficiency
  • Support initiatives related to martech, measurement & data capability uplift
  • Analyse campaign data and translate it into clear, actionable insights
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and performance targets (ROI, acquisition, spend)
  • Partner with data and marketing teams to improve tracking, reporting and measurement capability

What They’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in SEM / Paid Search / PPC in an agency, publisher or client-side environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads
  • Comfortable working with data to optimise performance
  • Experience with Excel and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI or Tableau is a bonus)
  • Exposure to SQL, testing/experimentation or automation is advantageous – but not essential

This role is ideal for someone coming from an agency or in-house role who wants to step into a more advanced, high-scale environment.
