Our client is a leading data, cloud, and AI consultancy delivering innovative technology solutions to enterprise customers across multiple industries. With a strong reputation for helping organisations unlock value through analytics, digital transformation, and modern cloud platforms, the business partners with some of the world’s most recognised technology vendors.

As part of continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Partner Sales Manager to strengthen strategic vendor relationships, drive alliance engagement, and unlock new commercial opportunities through partner ecosystems.

The Role

The Partner Sales Manager will play a key role in managing and growing relationships with technology vendors and strategic alliance partners. This position will focus on creating joint go-to-market opportunities, aligning partner engagement with business objectives, and maximising revenue opportunities through collaborative sales activity.

You will act as the main point of contact for vendor relationships, ensuring strong alignment between internal sales teams and external partners. The role requires a commercially minded individual with strong relationship-building capabilities, an understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems, and a proven ability to drive partner-led pipeline generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with strategic technology vendors and alliance partners.
  • Develop and execute partner engagement plans aligned to business growth objectives.
  • Identify joint sales opportunities and collaborate with vendors to generate pipeline.
  • Work closely with internal sales, delivery, and marketing teams to support partner-led initiatives.
  • Drive partner enablement activities, ensuring internal teams remain informed on vendor solutions, incentives, and programmes.
  • Coordinate joint account planning and co-selling activities with partner organisations.
  • Monitor partner performance, pipeline contribution, and revenue outcomes.
  • Support the development of partner-led campaigns, events, and market engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of vendor programmes, certifications, incentives, and partnership requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and onboard new alliance relationships where appropriate.
  • Ensure consistent communication between vendors and internal stakeholders to maximise collaboration.
  • Represent the company in partner meetings, industry events, and networking engagements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in partner sales, alliances, channel management, or vendor relationship management.
  • Background working within technology, cloud, data, analytics, or consulting environments.
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and vendor-led sales motions.
  • Demonstrated success in building strategic relationships and driving commercial growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially focused with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
  • Experience working with enterprise technology vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
