Salt is hiring a ‘Payment Partnerships Specialist’ to provide secure and seamless payment solutions across digital platforms and manage end-to-end payment operations including payment acquisition, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliation, and payment partner operations.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership & Campaign Management

  • Support and manage partnership programs with payment networks, banks, e-wallets, and financial institutions.
  • Coordinate and finalize partnership agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing framework agreements and campaign appendices are reviewed and executed before campaign launches.
  • Monitor partnership project timelines, identify operational risks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
  • Ensure strategic partnership initiatives are delivered with high quality and within agreed timelines.
  • Manage agreement amendments and coordinate approvals with relevant stakeholders.

Payment Operations & Reconciliation

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Product, Solutions, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Technical Support, and Marketing teams to support payment operations and partner integrations.
  • Ensure accurate onboarding and registration of new payment partners into internal systems.
  • Prepare and share reconciliation reports, invoices, and payment tracking updates with external partners in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support day-to-day payment operations and optimize operational processes for efficiency and scalability.

Customer & Partner Support

  • Liaise with internal teams, payment partners, and customer support teams to resolve payment channel issues and customer complaints efficiently.
  • Ensure smooth communication and issue resolution across multiple stakeholders and regions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Payment Operations, FinTech, e-Commerce, or technology-related industries.
  • Experience working with payment providers, e-wallets, card schemes, digital banking, or payment operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in payment partnerships, fintech operations, or digital payment ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of cross-border payments, settlement operations, or user payment experience optimization.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and contract management capabilities.
  • Experience supporting strategic partnerships and operational initiatives in high-growth environments.
