Product Manager (Automation, Systems & AI) | Dubai (On-site)

We are hiring a Product Manager with strong engineering capability to join a fast-moving Digital team in Dubai, working at the intersection of AI, product, and software engineering.

This is a technical product role.

We are looking for a product manager who can go deep into systems, understands how software is built, and can actively shape and deliver automation and AI-driven solutions. This is not a strategy-only role.

It is a hands-on product ownership role focused on improving and simplifying real business operations through technology.

The Opportunity

Behind a newly rebuilt premium eCommerce experience sits a complex operational ecosystem spanning commerce, logistics, finance, and customer experience.

Your mission is to own and evolve products that make the business easier to run through automation, systems thinking, and AI-enabled solutions.

You will work across both product discovery and technical delivery, ensuring ideas translate into working systems that deliver measurable impact.

What You Will Do:

• Own product discovery across operational workflows, identifying high-impact automation opportunities
• Translate business problems into clear product requirements and technical solutions
• Map systems, APIs, and data flows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities
• Define and prioritise product roadmaps focused on automation, efficiency, and AI enablement
• Work closely with engineers to design and deliver scalable solutions
• Contribute to solution design and understand implementation details
• Write or review code where needed (primarily Python-based systems)
• Integrate SaaS tools, internal platforms, and data pipelines
• Measure impact through operational KPIs such as cost, cycle time, and error reduction

What We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years in product management with strong technical or engineering background
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles (Python preferred)
• Experience working with APIs, services, and data-driven systems
• Ability to work closely with engineers and contribute to technical design decisions
• Strong systems thinking and ability to break down complex operational problems
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and owning outcomes
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and drive execution
• Strong communication skills and ability to align technical and non-technical teams

Nice to Have

• Experience in eCommerce, retail, logistics, or marketplace environments
• Exposure to automation of finance, operations, or supply chain workflows
• Startup or scale-up experience
• Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, or applied automation use cases
