The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading global company in the resources sector for a Project Administrator to join their newest project on a Part-Time basis. Working predominately remote with the occasional travel required to the mine site near Cloncurry, this role plays a critical part in ensuring effective governance, accurate reporting, document control, and smooth day-to-day project operations within a dynamic, fast-past environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Project Managers and project teams across multiple sites and regions
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, site visits, and project reviews, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking
- Assist with project scheduling, reporting cycles, and milestone tracking
- Support project cost tracking, purchase orders, invoices, and budget administration
- Book travel and accommodation for the team as required
- Assist with contractor administration and onboarding documentation
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Support communication between corporate offices, site-based teams, and international partners
What you would bring:
- Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or similar role preferably within FIFO, mining, resources, energy, engineering, or large capital projects
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Pronto (desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to travel to site on occasions and be flexible with availability as the hours may increase as the project ramps up!
