Project Manager – Client Onboarding
London (hybrid, with client site travel) · £55,000 – £70,000 base + bonus
I’m working with a fast-growing SaaS ticketing platform provider serving the most demanding visitor-economy operators – large heritage and cultural attractions, ferry operators, and large-scale ticketed events. For their clients, ticketing sits at the mission-critical core of the business, so when a client comes on board it’s usually replacing an incumbent platform as part of a wider digital transformation. They’re now hiring a Project Manager to own these enterprise onboarding projects end-to-end.
The role in brief
You’ll be the client’s single point of accountability from signed contract through to live operations – discovery, solution design, configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, training, cutover and hypercare. These are complex, high-stakes replacement programmes anchored to real-world deadlines (a season opening, a sailing schedule, a ticket on-sale date), with stakeholders ranging from operations teams to CIOs. You won’t deliver it alone – the role is about orchestrating product, engineering, support and commercial expertise, and holding the whole project to scope, schedule and budget.
What you need
- 5+ years of project management experience delivering software implementations for large SME and enterprise clients – ideally replacing or migrating a business-critical platform, not greenfield rollouts alone
- Experience delivering projects that sit inside wider digital transformation programmes, coordinating with client-side programme teams and third parties
- Technical fluency with API-first architectures, integration patterns (REST, webhooks, batch), environments and data migration
- A track record of on-time, on-budget delivery with disciplined scope and change control
- Excellent communication skills – comfortable running governance with C-level stakeholders and detailed sessions with engineers
- Bonus: experience in ticketing or adjacent domains – visitor attractions, heritage/cultural sector, transport/ferry/transit, live events, or hospitality tech
- Bonus: a formal delivery qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum)
