Salt have partnered with New Zealand’s largest healthcare provider who are seeking a temporary coordinator for their recruitment and allocation team.
About the Role:
- Office based, 5 days per week in Grafton with $5/Day parking
- 3 Month temporary assignment starting ASAP
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
- $38.50 – 39.90 per hour + 8% holiday pay (depending on experience)
As a Recruitment & Allocation Coordinator you are responsible for managing the end-to-end administration of on boarding and compliance processes for new medical employees. This is a detail-oriented role where proactive planning and accurate completion of critical checks are essential to ensure doctors can commence work and be paid on time.
Day to day:
- Coordinate onboarding and pre-employment compliance requirements.
- Act as the key contact for candidate, clinicians, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage reference, qualification, and compliance checks.
- Maintain accurate employee records across multiple systems.
- Track onboarding milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the wider Recruitment & Allocation team with administration and coordination.
About you:
You are an experienced coordinator who thrives in a process-driven environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You remain calm under pressure and are proactive, resourceful, and take ownership of your tasks.
You will bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in HR, Recruitment, Workforce Planning, or a similar coordination role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Experience using ATS, HRIS, CRM, or other database systems.
- Experience managing onboarding, compliance, and employment documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Applicants must be Auckland-based, available for an immediate start, and legally entitled to work full-time in New Zealand. Unfortunately, candidates on student visas with restricted work hours are not eligible for this position.
