Job Overview
A leading company in the consumer electronics space is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager with a proven track record of managing major retail accounts. This role focuses on driving sell-through performance, managing key retail relationships, and ensuring strong in-store execution across national chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with retail buyers and category managers
- Drive sell-through performance across stores
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, margins, and promotions
- Secure shelf space, catalogue placements, and in-store visibility
- Analyse sales data, stock levels, and store performance
- Forecast demand and manage stock in line with retail cycles
- Ensure execution of merchandising, displays, and promotions
- Monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities
- Manage risks such as stock shortages or slow-moving stock
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Retail Sales Manager role
- Direct experience working with national retail chains (e.g. Makro, Game or similar)
- Proven experience engaging with retail buyers
- Strong commercial and financial understanding
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience within consumer electronics or fast-paced retail
