Salary: up to 18,000 SAR
Our client, a leading international exhibitions and events organisation, is looking for a driven Sales Executive to join their growing team in Riyadh. You’ll be responsible for selling exhibition space to new and existing clients, building long-term relationships, and helping deliver world-class trade shows across the region. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the full sales cycle for exhibition space – from prospecting and cold calling through to closing deals and post-sale follow up.
- Source and qualify new leads, consistently meeting defined activity and revenue targets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing exhibitors via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions to network, expand the client base, and prospect new business opportunities.
- Handle inbound enquiries and ensure all sales administration is completed accurately and on time (correspondence, mailings, letters, database updates).
- Keep CRM and databases up to date, providing accurate daily and monthly sales reports.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure seamless delivery of events and an excellent exhibitor experience.
- Monitor competitor and market activity, identifying new growth areas and potential threats or partnership opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years’ experience in sales, ideally within events, exhibitions, media, or a related B2B environment.
- Degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong phone and face-to-face sales skills with a persuasive, consultative approach.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confident communicator who can build rapport with diverse stakeholders and represent the business professionally.
- Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable taking initiative and ownership of targets.
- Resilient under pressure and able to handle setbacks while maintaining a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with CRMs and sales reporting tools.
