Hiring Junior-Mid Salesforce Administrator

An established Melbourne-based IT Managed Services Provider is looking for a Mid Level Salesforce Administrator to join their growing team in Richmond. This is a unique hybrid role where you’ll act as the primary Salesforce Administrator for a key client, while also supporting the broader MSP environment with Level 1 IT support across multiple customers.
This role is ideal for someone early in their Salesforce career who enjoys variety, learning new technologies, and building strong relationships with users.
The Role
You will work closely with a dedicated client that relies heavily on Salesforce for their operations, ensuring the platform runs smoothly while helping users get the most from it. Alongside this, you’ll support the MSP’s wider customer base with general IT support requests.
This position offers excellent exposure to both CRM administration and IT service delivery, making it a strong career-building opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform for a key client
- Manage users, permissions, profiles, and roles
- Configure fields, objects, reports, dashboards, and workflows
- Provide day-to-day Salesforce support and troubleshoot issues
- Assist with data imports, data quality management, and system improvements
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and support system enhancements
Level 1 IT Support
- Provide Level 1 support across desktop, applications, and cloud services
- Troubleshoot user issues relating to Microsoft 365, devices, and basic networking
- Log and manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers where required
- Deliver friendly, responsive support to a variety of end users
About You
- 2-3+ years experience working with Salesforce administration or support
- Exposure to IT helpdesk or technical support environments
- Understanding of Salesforce objects, users, reports, and basic automation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across different clients
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment
- Exposure to Microsoft 365, Windows environments, or ticketing systems
