SAP BASIS Lead | S/4HANA Greenfield Transformation

Are you an experienced SAP BASIS Lead looking to play a key role in one of the region’s largest SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes?

We are seeking a senior SAP BASIS professional to lead the technical delivery of a large-scale Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation, working across multiple SAP products and enterprise integrations within a complex, business-critical environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-term transformation programme with a planned 4-year onsite engagement, offering excellent project stability, exposure to the latest SAP technologies, and the opportunity to work on a highly visible enterprise implementation.

As the SAP BASIS Lead, you will be responsible for the installation, upgrade, administration and technical governance of the SAP landscape, ensuring the successful delivery of the SAP platform throughout the transformation programme. You will work closely with infrastructure, database, network and application teams to deliver a resilient, high-performing SAP environment while providing technical leadership across the BASIS function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation and technical delivery.
• Install, configure and upgrade SAP S/4HANA and associated SAP products.
• Prepare project plans, technical roadmaps and implementation timelines.
• Perform hardware sizing and infrastructure estimation.
• Execute system installations across both HANA and non-HANA databases.
• Manage backup and restore activities and disaster recovery planning.
• Deliver system copies, database refreshes and database upgrades.
• Configure SAP Web Dispatcher and load balancing.
• Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Integrate SAP environments with SAP BTP, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and on-premise applications.
• Perform proactive system monitoring, health checks and performance optimisation.
• Maintain database backup strategies and monitor critical SAP services.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience.
• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.
• Strong expertise in installation and upgrades of:
• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP BW/4HANA
• SAP HCM
• SAP BusinessObjects / BODS
• SAP SRM
• SAP Process Orchestration (PO)
• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• SAP Fiori
• SAP Solution Manager
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture across operating systems, databases, networking and infrastructure.
• Experience with hardware sizing, capacity planning and project estimation.
• Expertise in High Availability, Disaster Recovery and SAP system administration best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA conversions and migration projects.
• Additional SAP product installation and upgrade experience.
• Exposure to enterprise integration landscapes and hybrid cloud environments.
