Salt is currently hiring a SAP Delivery Manager for a client of ours in Europe.

SAP Delivery Manager – SAP FI/CO

Location: 100% Remote – EU

Duration: 6-12 months

Engagement: Freelance / Contract

We are looking for an experienced SAP Delivery Manager to take ownership of functional delivery within a major SAP programme.

This is a delivery-focused role for someone with a strong SAP FI/CO background who can lead and drive configuration teams, manage dependencies and ensure that work is delivered on time and to the required quality.

What you’ll do

• Own and drive SAP functional delivery across the programme.
• Lead and coordinate SAP FI/CO and wider functional configuration teams.
• Set clear priorities, manage timelines and ensure delivery against agreed milestones.
• Challenge configuration leads and remove blockers to keep delivery on track.
• Manage dependencies between functional teams and other project workstreams.
• Track progress, risks, issues and deliverables, escalating where necessary.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP leads and programme management.
• Ensure consistent communication and alignment across remote, international teams.

Must-have

• Strong SAP FI/CO background with solid understanding of SAP configuration.
• Proven experience in an SAP Delivery Manager, Functional Lead or similar delivery role.
• Experience leading and coordinating SAP configuration teams.
• Strong track record of driving delivery against challenging timelines.
• Confident managing senior stakeholders and challenging teams when required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent English.
• Able to work effectively in a fully remote, international environment.
• Available for a 6-12 month freelance engagement.

Nice to have

• S/4HANA implementation or transformation experience.
• Experience working across multiple SAP functional areas.
• Experience in large-scale SAP programmes or complex international environments.

We are looking for someone who combines SAP FI/CO expertise with strong delivery leadership – a person who understands what the configuration teams are doing, but whose primary focus is making sure they deliver, on time and to the required standard.
