Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Business Analyst to support a manufacturing client on a full-time on-site basis. The successful candidate will provide functional expertise across SAP HCM ECC modules, ensuring stable system performance, effective business process support, and continuous improvement across HR operations.
This role is best suited for a hands-on SAP HCM professional with strong end-to-end module exposure and experience working in complex, operational environments such as manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support across SAPHCMECC modules:
- Organizational Management (OM)
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Time Management (TM/PT)
- Payroll (PY)
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions
- Support day-to-day HR system operations and issue resolution
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution of system issues
- Work closely with HR and Payroll teams to ensure process accuracy and compliance
- Assist with system enhancements, configuration adjustments, and testing
- Support end-user training and documentation updates
- Participate in workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years SAP HCM ECC functional experience
- Strong hands-on experience in OM, PA, TM, and Payroll (PY)
- Proven SAP support and/or implementation experience
- Strong understanding of HR business processes in complex organisations
- Experience working in manufacturing / industrial environments (preferred)
- Ability to work full-time on-site
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with SAP ECC HR modules (not S/4HANA-only profiles)
Nice to Have
- Time evaluation and payroll schema knowledge
- Experience in unionised or shift-based workforce environments
- Exposure to HR compliance and statutory reporting
- Previous experience in large-scale enterprise environments
Additional Information
- This is a full-time on-site role (hybrid may be considered later, but not guaranteed)
- Immediate availability will be advantageous
- Manufacturing environment exposure is highly beneficial
