Role Overview
The company is seeking a passionate Senior Android Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of a new enterprise-grade mobile application. You’ll play a key role in shaping the Android development roadmap, with the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated Android team as the product evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to define and implement high-quality features.
- Build enterprise-grade mobile solutions optimised for performance and security.
- Establish architectural standards, reusable frameworks, and best coding practices.
- Manage full app lifecycle – from design and testing to release and maintenance.
- Oversee Play Store deployments, release management, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate APIs and authentication systems.
- Mentor others and foster a culture of innovation and quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Android app development using Kotlin.
- Proven background in building enterprise or large-scale apps.
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, UI/UX principles, and testing frameworks.
- Experience with Google Play app distribution, build pipelines, and secure key management.
Preferred
- Strong portfolio or examples of live apps.
- Experience implementing Agile practices in software delivery.
