Our client is a global management consultancy with expertise across planning, procurement, supply chain, logistics and manufacturing. With a collaborative and hands-on approach, they partner with clients to solve complex supply chain challenges and deliver practical, sustainable outcomes.
As their consulting practice continues to grow, they are looking for a Senior Demand Planning Consultant to join their Kuala Lumpur team.
In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced consultants and client stakeholders to understand planning challenges, analyse business requirements, facilitate workshops, map and improve business processes, and support the delivery of planning transformation projects.
We’re keen to speak with professionals who have strong planning experience gained within a manufacturing environment and are looking to transition into, or further develop, a consulting career.
What you will do :
- Work closely with clients to understand and analyse supply chain planning requirements.
- Participate in discovery sessions, interviews and workshops with client stakeholders.
- Conduct process mapping, identify improvement opportunities, and support solution development.
- Analyse client operations to identify trends, gaps and future planning requirements.
- Support or lead planning workstreams across consulting engagements.
- Prepare project documentation, reports and insights for client presentations.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within project timelines.
Who we are looking for :
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning or a related planning function within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience gained in industry, consulting, or a combination of both.
- Exposure to planning transformation, process improvement or planning system initiatives will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with data using Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL or other analytical tools is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage cross-functional teams.
- Curious, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast-paced consulting environment.
This role involves regular travel and working closely with clients on-site, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of planning transformation projects across different industries.
