Senior Designer

Salt is hiring a ‘Senior Designer’ wherein your core responsibility will be to transform important business narratives into compelling keynote presentations and creating engaging visuals or motion graphics for social media placements. Your graphic and motion design expertise enables you to turn intricate details into concise and informative visuals that are equally meaningful and delightful.

This is a one-year contract position based in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Thoughtfully visualize facts and figures as graphics or animation for keynote presentations.

· Create visuals or motion graphics that surprise and delight social media users.

· Methodically present complex information in layouts that aid readability and comprehension.

· Collaborate with Content Lead to create refreshing and relevant content through iterative design sprints and brainstorms.

· Define or enhance the tonality of a narrative’s messaging by using the right imagery that evoke the appropriate mood for a presentation.

· Act as a brand custodian by ensuring the work strictly adheres to the company’s brand guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in Graphic Design; Ability to produce simple 2D motion graphics

· A strong portfolio that demonstrates the ability to process and transform complex information into compelling visuals.

· Ability to handle simple video editing – Experience in designing for print is a plus, especially if it includes annual reports.

· Experience in 3D design & Generative AI tools is a plus.

· Design experience in executive communications or other equivalent roles that services corporate leadership is a plus.

· Proficient operating knowledge across relevant Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. – Intermediate operating knowledge of office productivity software such as Google Slides, Docs and Sheets; or Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Able to perform independently or within a team. – Values feedback and actively seeks it.

· Thrives in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

· Possesses a basic understanding of how to produce work that drives results for digitally published content.

· Familiar with the latest design and digital trends.
