Senior Solutions Engineer – Runtime Application Security

Are you the kind of engineer who loves going deep technically and thrives in customer conversations? Do you get excited about modern cloud-native architectures, containers, and what’s really happening inside running applications?

We’re building a next-generation runtime application security platform that gives security and engineering teams real visibility into what their software is actually doing in production – across complex, fast-moving, cloud-native environments. Our technology operates at runtime, close to the workload itself, providing rich, real-time insight without slowing teams down.

Now we’re looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to help bring this to life for customers.

🚀 The Role

You’ll partner closely with Account Executives to lead value-driven technical sales cycles with some of the most sophisticated engineering and security teams in the world.

This is not a slideware role. You’ll be hands-on, highly technical, and central to proving real-world impact.

You will:

  • Lead deep technical discovery with security, platform, and engineering teams to understand architectures, workflows, and risk areas
  • Translate complex runtime and application security concepts into clear business and technical value
  • Deliver tailored, technically accurate demos aligned to real customer use cases
  • Design and own Proof of Value (PoV) engagements end-to-end, defining success criteria and guiding technical validation
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers evaluating modern runtime security approaches
  • Feed insights from the field back into Product and Engineering to help shape the future of the platform
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in modern application and runtime security through content, events, and community engagement

You’ll be evangelising a platform built for modern application environments – containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and rapidly changing codebases.

Our approach focuses on:

  • Runtime visibility into how applications and their dependencies actually behave in production
  • Deep insight into open-source components and software supply chain risk
  • Low-level telemetry and runtime intelligence gathered close to the workload
  • Helping teams move beyond static results to real, contextualised risk

If you enjoy conversations that span Dev, Sec, and Ops – and love getting into the technical weeds – you’ll feel right at home.

🔧 What You Bring

We’re looking for a strong technical foundation combined with customer-facing confidence.

You likely have:

  • 5+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, containers, and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or Ruby
  • Experience running technical discovery sessions and enterprise PoVs
  • Knowledge of application or runtime security concepts such as vulnerability management, software composition analysis, supply chain risk, or workload protection
  • The ability to clearly explain highly technical topics to both engineers and business stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

  • Runtime security, cloud workload protection, or application security platforms
  • Linux internals, system-level instrumentation, or observability tooling
  • eBPF or other low-level runtime monitoring technologies
  • CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and modern software delivery
  • Open-source ecosystems and dependency management
  • Highly technical buyers like platform engineering, SRE, or security engineering teams
