Salary: R50 000 P/M

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to oversee and lead all production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production while meeting operational targets and delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets
• Plan and optimise production schedules in collaboration with relevant teams
• Monitor workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Manage, coach, and develop production teams and supervisors
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, process optimisation)
• Track and report on production performance, efficiency, and costs

Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• 7-10+ years manufacturing experience, with 3-5 years in a senior production management role
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and compliance standards
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
