Wealth Management Transformation | Digital Banking | Digital Transformation

An opportunity for a seasoned Program Manager to lead the end-to-end transformation of a bank’s Wealth Management platforms into a modern, digital-first ecosystem.

This role sits at enterprise level and is responsible for driving complex, multi-stream programs that modernize legacy wealth systems into scalable, microservices-enabled platforms aligned with digital product strategies.

The successful candidate will combine in-depth financial services expertise with strong governance leadership, effective executive stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver large-scale solutions within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex transformation programs across Wealth Management, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Own the full program lifecycle, from mobilisation and planning through to execution and benefits realisation.
  • Drive modernisation of legacy wealth platforms into integrated, digital product environments.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide clear executive-level reporting on progress, risks, financials, and dependencies.
  • Partner closely with senior business, technology, risk, and operations stakeholders to ensure alignment and decision-making velocity.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams operating across product, engineering, architecture, and business domains.
  • Proactively manage risk, interdependencies, and change impacts across the program landscape.
  • Ensure effective financial oversight, budget control, and resource planning.
  • Support the integration of microservices architecture, advanced analytics capabilities, and agile delivery models within the target-state platform.

Required Experience:

  • 15+ years’ experience delivering complex enterprise programs within banking or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Wealth Management platform transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of wealth advisory, portfolio management, client servicing, and digital wealth ecosystems.
  • Experience operating within regulated banking environments.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and large, distributed delivery teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial governance capability.
  • Experience delivering within agile and hybrid delivery models at scale.
  • Exposure to modern architecture patterns, including microservices and analytics-driven platforms.

Tools & Frameworks:

  • Enterprise planning tools (e.g., MS Project / Gantt frameworks)
  • Jira and Agile tracking platforms
  • Structured PMO governance and reporting standards

Profile:

  • Strategic program leader with strong execution discipline
  • Executive communicator with high credibility
  • Structured, governance-driven, and commercially aware
  • Comfortable leading large, multi-domain transformation environments
  • Calm and decisive within complex stakeholder landscapes
