Senior Project Manager – Network Infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Network Infrastructure) to lead the delivery of network and infrastructure initiatives across a complex technology environment within a leading education organisation. This role will focus on delivering network projects that reduce operational and cybersecurity risk, support regulatory compliance, and strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
- $950.00 a Day Inclusive of super.
- Initial 6-Month engagement, with possibility of extension.
- Melbourne CBD.
- Hybrid working model, 2 days in office.
- Exposure to working alongside a well-established Australian Uni.
THE ROLE:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects involving enterprise network changes
* Plan, execute, and deliver initiatives that reduce risk and enhance cybersecurity resilience
* Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, risks, and budgets
* Coordinate cross-functional teams across network, security, IT, and business units
* Manage multiple concurrent projects within complex stakeholder environments
* Provide clear project reporting, dashboards, and executive-level updates
* Support governance, compliance, and quality assurance requirements
* Drive change management, user adoption, and communication activities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience delivering network and infrastructure projects as a Senior Project Manager
* Strong understanding of network and cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and terminology
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder groups and multiple workstreams
* Experience using project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
* Proficiency with project management tools such as PPM, MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence
* Hands-on experience delivering cybersecurity-related initiatives
* Experience working within Australian tertiary education or similarly regulated environments highly regarded
* Strong change management, user adoption, and training experience
* Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM, or Prosci highly desirable
