Senior Revenue Accountant

Salt is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant for a contract role based in Singapore. This position is responsible for revenue recognition, month-end close activities, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, experience with financial systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to support accurate and efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities.
• Prepare account reconciliations for revenue-related balance sheet accounts such as deferred revenue, unbilled A/R, and deferred installation revenue.
• Create and post manual journal entries related to revenue accounting.
• Analyze balance sheet fluctuations and investigate variances.
• Operate revenue accounting systems (especially RevPro) to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance testing.
• Develop management reports and ad hoc analyses.
• Maintain and improve accounting procedures and controls.
• Participate in ERP and billing system testing, UAT, and process enhancements.
• Partner with stakeholders to reduce revenue leakage and improve accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Revenue accounting.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; CPA certification preferred.
• Public accounting or technical revenue recognition experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and process skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude
• In-depth knowledge of full-cycle accounting issues and treatment.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud ERP; experience with RevPro revenue management tool is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
