I’m partnering with a top integrated agency in Dubai to support their search for a Social Strategist to join their growing strategy team. This is a key role for someone who lives and breathes social, understands platform behaviour, and can translate audience insights into smart, culturally relevant ideas.
Role Overview
The Social Strategist will be responsible for developing social-first strategies across always-on content, campaigns, and integrated brand initiatives. You’ll work closely with the creative, account management, and data teams to ensure every idea is grounded in insight and built for performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop social-first strategies across content, campaigns, and brand moments.
- Analyse audience behaviour, trends, and platform data to uncover insights.
- Build clear strategic frameworks that guide creative development.
- Partner with creative teams to develop ideas that are culturally relevant and platform-fit.
- Work with paid media teams to align organic and paid social strategies.
- Lead client presentations and articulate strategic thinking confidently.
- Monitor performance and advise on optimisation and future opportunities.
- Stay ahead of emerging platforms, features, formats, and cultural trends.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in social strategy within an agency environment.
- Strong understanding of social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, YouTube.
- Comfortable building decks, frameworks, and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to distil data and behaviour into clear insights.
- Experience partnering closely with creative teams.
- Strong understanding of Middle East social culture and trends is a plus.
- Passion for experimentation and innovative ideas.
