Role & Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Lead one or more strategic, enterprise‑wide technology programmes, often spanning multiple entities and divisions, while acting as a role model for clients values and principles through effective collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Define, structure and drive complex technology programmes and workstreams, including (but not limited to):
- Technology infrastructure and platform initiatives (e.g. data centre set‑up, consolidation or exit)
- IT platform rehosting, migration or modernisation initiatives
- Cloud, hosting and infrastructure transformation programmes
- Technology operating model and capability evolution
- Technology dependencies, risks, and value tracking
- Shape and drive complex business, organizational, regulatory and technology changes, ensuring that programme objectives, delivery milestones, KPIs and value commitments are delivered in a sustainable and controlled manner.
- Work in close collaboration with the programme sponsor and senior Business, Technology, Finance, Risk and Security stakeholders, ensuring scope, benefits, schedule, budget and risks are managed rigorously, with a strong focus on delivery quality and long‑term value.
- Lead the programme team in a matrix organisation and play a crucial role in crafting and maintaining focus, transparency, passion, and momentum, while building strong business relationships and trust among your partners.
- Identify key relationships to build and maintain, and ensure the health of those relationships over the long term. Identify where formal (authority) and informal (influence) direction is required. Earn consensus around the programme vision and take vital steps to realize it.
- Apply the programme management methodology used at the Bank, contributing to the development of strong programme management practices within the organization and to the continuous improvement of Banks programme management maturity.
- Manage a wide range of programme dimensions including planning, delivery governance, risk management, stakeholder management, financial tracking, and change adoption, defining clear strategies and execution plans for each.
- Get broad exposure to senior management across the organization, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to the success of the organisation.
- Operate with significant autonomy, coordinating business and technology contributors across geographies to deliver complex, high‑impact technology programmes.
Required qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven successful experience of 10+ years in programme or project management, including leading large‑scale technology or transformation programmes in complex organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in major IT or technology‑driven initiatives (e.g. infrastructure transformations, platform migrations, rehosting, data centre or cloud‑related programmes) is a strong asset.
- Project or programme management certification is a plus.

- Analytical skills: can decompose and structure complex programmes into manageable packages while maintaining the focus on the overall objectives with a strong ability to solve / pre-empt problems. You handle standard & non-standard situations with low level of certainty.
- Transparency: not afraid to voice your convictions and strive to build transparency in any situation.
- Change Management: understand the importance to manage the change to reach the objectives and have experience with change management methodology.
