Freelance Technical Product Lead (Experience Platforms)

* Start: In 2 weeks

* Length: 6 months

* Client: Telecommunications Company

* Day rate: £620 a day

* IR35: Inside IR35 (You will need to invoice through an Umbrella company, legally you cannot use your Ltd company for this)

* Working setup: Hybrid working with 3 days in the studio and 2 days remotely a week

* Location: Central/East London

This role?

You will direct the strategic vision and drive the success of their organisation’s Experience Platforms, enabling user experiences across their customer-facing digital journeys. You will oversee the integration and business adoption of this suite of digital products, collaborating with the Product Owners and Chapter Leads to develop a portfolio roadmap.

• Someone with brilliant evangelism’ experience.
• Aggregating previous platforms.
• CMS Design Systems, Adobe Suite and messaging reset for teams with roadmap vision.
• It is a large piece of work with Adobe.
• What can we do with generation AI?
• Drive the project more strategically with what they are doing with the roadmap and stakeholder vision.
• You need to be highly technical, and a specialist in Design Systems.
• This is not a growth role but a capability role.
• You want to own the journey, are motivated to run and lead front-end platforms.
• Running everything on top, from releases to messaging.
• Team management will be looking after a medium-sized team of marketing tech and messaging.
• Currently 4-6 squads and to grow a mini tribe of 40-60 people.
• Will need solid management experience.
• Evangelist, Product Manager, technically strong product capabilities, bias towards platform type roles.

You’ll have the following skills & experience

• Strong product strategic thinking and evangelist. The ability to develop a clear vision and roadmap for complex platforms.
• If you have worked with Telecom clients then fantastic, but not essential.
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep technical understanding of web development technologies, frameworks, and architectures.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to use data and insights to drive decision-making and measure success.
• Keen on platform-oriented capability roles over owning the product itself.
• Tech innovator. You will represent the Chief Digital Office and the Business CDO on platform acceleration/roadmap via generation AI.
