About the Role
As a Delivery Manager, you’ll be the pivotal link between our clients and internal departments, collaborating closely with our UK-based fully remote development, support, and sales teams. Your core responsibility will be to cultivate and foster exceptional client relationships, ensuring we consistently surpass their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise: Champion our comprehensive product delivery approach, exhibiting a high degree of technical proficiency.
Team Collaboration: Cultivate a collaborative and motivated environment within cross-functional teams, encompassing development, testing, and support.
Client Relations: Engage actively with clients and stakeholders, ensuring projects align seamlessly with requirements and expectations.
Communication Excellence: Lead client calls, document insights effectively, identify and follow up on actions promptly, and schedule necessary follow-ups both internally and externally.
Release Management Expertise: Support seamless client communications regarding project releases and their content.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor peers through various phases of the product delivery lifecycle, setting the pace and ensuring teams align with delivery commitments.
Meeting Coordination: Facilitate weekly department head meetings, taking actionable notes, and resolving any roadblocks proactively.
Roadmap Accountability: Collaborate with peers to define the roadmap and resourcing for current and upcoming developments.
Project Planning Mastery: Communicate and plan effectively using collaborative tools.
Strategic Insight: Interpret and expand company and product strategy in both the short and long term.
Other Duties:
Value Measurement: Evaluate the value delivered to clients and internally.
Resource Tracking: Track resource usage for financial accounting and resource planning purposes.
Third-party Performance Monitoring: Monitor and cultivate relationships with third-party service providers.
Team Advocacy: Effectively advocate for your team, demonstrating adeptness in addressing challenges.
Risk Management: Log and monitor risk management strategies.
Budget and Resource Optimization: Support effective budget and resource management within project constraints.
Essential Requirements
People leadership experience (4+ people).
Outstanding problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
Knowledge of project management best practices and certifications.
Proficient MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, filtering).
Expertise in project and resource planning.
Commercial and budget management proficiency.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with SaaS products.
Familiarity with the Modified Waterfall development model.
Experience working with mid-sized and large enterprise clients.
Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure.
Proven track record of leading mid-sized teams, working effectively with small remote teams, and managing varied workloads.
