Job Role: Solution Engineer – Tech-For-Good

Location: High Wycombe – with remote working (1 day per week in the office)

Salary: £80K + 12% bonus and £6.5K car allowance

Tech: React.JS, Node.JS, Typescript, AWS

The role:

This is a mainly hands-off role, with them seeking a Solution Engineer to support the Health Care Technology.

You’ll have the chance to shape the technical standards for global and regional products. As such, any Solution Engineer will need to have a strong background in software development, technical architecture and commercial technology.

Responsibilities:

Lead software design, service architecture, and solution engineering.

Collaborate with global teams and contribute to setting technology standards.

Participate in development projects, following best practices and utilising standard tool sets.

Review designs and code within the product group.

Drive the technical delivery of internal and external engineers.

Explore emerging technologies for continuous improvement of our digital products.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Work closely with IT Product Owners and partners to understand business needs and communicate value through data and technology.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ideally a degree – though this is not essential with if you have equivalent industry experience.

5+ years of relevant experience within software development and leading teams/projects

Proficient in agile/waterfall frameworks and software development lifecycle.

Solid understanding of technologies like Node.JS, React.JS, AWS, and Microservices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience delivering customer-facing products.

The salary for the Solution Engineer role is up to £80K + 12% bonus, learning and development opportunities, employee resource groups, volunteer time and more!
